Facing your demons is hard, but living with them is a very different ball game and for rogue detective Mangaliso Zulu, playing with his demons makes him a warrior. Haunted by a recurring dream and the voice of his missing father, Mangi struggles to keep a balance between his job and his destructive lifestyle. After a string of murders in Howick, his native hometown deep in the KZN midlands, which involve a gang he is investigating, Mangi finds himself working undercover as a getaway driver for a bank robbery. His journey takes him deep into the criminal underworld where he encounters all kinds of dodgy and mysterious characters. With the help of his old friend Toby and his new partner Sbongile Ngubane, who reluctantly agrees to join the investigation, Mangi must find an elusive killer while avoiding any unnecessary damage that might be caused by the actions he’s about to participate in.
