African Traditional Hut

When an image of a hut is seen , One`s thought quickly goes to the continent of  Africa

Women are heavily and important in the designing of the interior and the exterior  of the hut using natural pigments , creating patterns and designs that have cultural and symbolic meanings.

Hut construction often involves  the collaboration of women  within the community

This communal effort  strengthen social bonds  and preserves  traditional techniques

The hut is half way  plastered  with mud , because mud is excellent insulator , keeping houses cooler during hot days and warm during cold nights and winter

It is locally  available and inexpensive material to use

Their central role is expressed by a shona proverb ; musha mukadzi
