Warm, grounded and quietly radiant, The Tall Ones — The Sun Chaser  – Golden Edition is a sculptural lamp that celebrates thoughtful reuse and local textile heritage.

Hand-built from reclaimed cardboard, paper clay and carefully selected upcycled fabric — including locally produced shweshwe — this giraffe lamp is defined by its elongated form and sun-warmed palette. Layers of yellow and ochre fabric create a calm, cohesive surface while allowing traces of pattern and history to remain visible.

 The gently suspended bulb casts a soft, downward glow that enhances the textures and brings a sense of late-afternoon warmth into a space.

Each lamp is individually made. Variations in fabric pattern, placement and tone are part of the design, ensuring every piece is entirely one-of-a-kind.
